Gunning has been an engineering company for more than 25 years. The company was founded in 1983, first starting in the the general engineering business, but in 1990 the company expanded and began moving into the heating market. Gunning Heating Products today specialises in easy-assembly trench heating, new high-output tubular radiators, and gilled tube heating.
Heating for conservatories is an area of growing need in the UK market. More and more homes and other facilities have added conservatories in recent years; and for these premises to be usable in the winter, they need heating. Heat loss increases with increased use of glass walls and large windows. Gunning has long experience in helping customers choose the right kind of heating for their conservatories. Please visit our website for more information and to contact us.
The ideal system for providing a heating system in front of full glazed walls is with trench heating. Trench heating, which distributes heat evenly along a glass perimeter, prevents draughts, cold spots, and condensation. Gunning’s trench heating solution is designed to offset a downdraught from windows or glazed walls in conservatories, extensions, officers, or other spaces where wall height is limited. Please visit our website for more information and to contact us.
Gunning’s low-level and compact tubular radiators are designed to offer a high-output of heat with a modern and low-profile appearance. Conservatories, bathrooms, and the space in front of a glazed area, can all benefit from tubular radiators. And tubular radiators have the added benefit of generating high levels of heat with low electricity demands. Please visit our website for more information and to contact us.
Gunning’s gilled tube heating offers an all-purpose extended surface medium to transfer heat – while coming with the strength to withstand system temperatures and pressures. Special machines wind heating strips on to a tube, in a continuous spiral and with high levels to tension; this leaves a semi-flat fin with a crimped contact area to offer a mechanical bond for transferring heat from the tube to the fin. This assembly does not deteriorate or loosen – even in challenging or severe conditions. Our spirally-wound gilled tube heating can be supplied in straight lengths of up to three metres. Our heating elements are not just used in our trench heaters. In fact, there are a great many other applications for these space saving and effective elements, which are suitable for use under benches, behind radiator covers, under floors and in airing cupboards. Our heating elements provide the perfect heating or cooling solution in so many different ways. When selecting your elements, there is a range of options to choose from with two sizes – either 15mm or 22mm copper tube. Take a look on our website to see the full range.
You can read on our website a selection of testimonials from our customers, many of whom are either repeat customers or state their intention to buy from Gunning Heating Elements again in the future.
