Description

Charnwood Borough Council wishes to enter into a contract with a catering organisation that will provide a consistent, high quality and cost effective service to visitors, customers and officials from the Queens Park Café located within Charnwood Museum, which is situated in Queens Park, Loughborough.

The basis of the proposed contract is to receive a guaranteed rent from the Supplier who will earn their income from profits achieved above and beyond this rent and other agreed cost payable to the Council, which include utilities, telephone and waste/refuse collection.

Queens Park Café is housed within a Victorian building which was originally the town swimming baths, and is now Charnwood Museum. The café can seat a maximum of 50 people inside and includes an outside terrace which can be utilised in the summer and in fair weather. The terrace is well positioned with attractive views of the park and buildings.

The Cafe can be open both in conjunction with and independently of the Museum.

The last date for request of documents is the 28/02/2019, with tenders to be returned by 12 Noon on the 8/03/2019.
