Description

Thanet District Council is seeking to procure a Principal Contractor for the change of use and reconfiguration of former bank and offices known at Foy House, 27-29 High Street, Margate CT9 1DL to 8 no. Residential self-contained flats with laundry and office spaces, with associated external works.

The proposed form of contract is the Joint Contracts Tribunal Intermediate Form of Contract with Contractor Design, 2016 version (JCT ICD 16) to include Thanet District Council's standard terms as "Special Conditions".

The Council has appointed a 3rd party to act as Contract Administrator on behalf of the Council.

The Works are anticipated to commence upon 29 November 2021 for a duration of 42 weeks inclusive of the Christmas break (duration to be confirmed by Contractor).
