Steve Hill Services specialises in supplying cooking oil machines and filtration systems to the catering industry. Our machines extend the life of cooking oil or fat by keeping it clean for everyday use. Cleaner oil, in turn, improves the quality of the food. We supply various filtration systems to suit different frying machines such as the Merlin Clarifry or the Merlin Top Fry. We are also pleased to act as main agents for the Kuroma Southern Fried Chicken range of table top fryers. For UK customers, we also supply a range of humidified display units for the storage of cooked chicken. All of our items are fully certified and meet all industry regulations for health and safety purposes. We also offer a spares and repair service.

Fryers

The Kuroma Pressure Fryer is the perfect addition to any domestic or commercial kitchen for cooking tasty southern fried chicken. It is a compact fryer suitable for easy inclusion in all size kitchens. Chicken is cooked to perfection in 10 to 16 minutes depending on the size of the chicken pieces. But it doesn't just stop there. The Kuroma Pressure Fryer can be used for creating tasty flavours of sea food, chops, potato wedges and more. The Kuroma Pressure Fryer is easy to use and has many features for the best culinary results. Our machines are fully certified and comply with the new pressure vessel directive.

Filters

Our Merlin Oil/Fat Filtration System is designed for use in fryers where it removes unwanted carbon particles from the oil and fat to increase shelf life. Running costs of the Merlin Oil and Fat Filtration System are as little as 35p per day - this includes a daily filtration sheet. We supply round or rectangular filter papers to suit most filtration systems.

Smokers

The KUROMA Pressure Smoking Kettle generates wood smoke from real wood chips. The smoke is retained in the closed vessel to eliminate the need for smoke extraction in the kitchen. The KUROMA pressure smoking kettle reduces barbecue cooking times by half compared to conventional methods and is easy to operate. Water is added to the pressure pot to create the steam pressure and the method of steam cooking reduces food shrinkage and there is no charring. This portable cooker operates from a 13 amp socket and is supplied with a twelve month guarantee. Hickory and oak wood chips are availanle in 2kg bags.
