Quality Plated Plastics is a leading electroplating company that has been at the forefront of its industry since its establishment in 1965. We specialise in supplying an electroplating on plastics service in the UK, having worked with a range of highly valued customers in the sanitary ware, domestic appliance, brewery, display, automotive and electronics industries. QPP offers a wide range of stylish finishes including satin, copper, nickel and gold, together with finishes for EMI/RFI shielding. In addition to our high quality electroplating on plastics service, QPP offers facilities for component assembly, Kan Ban and can undertake Total Project Management.

The Plating Process

At Quality Plated Plastics, we have the knowledge, ability and skills to electroplate both high volume and "one off" sample parts. Our high quality and cost effective service has contributed toward our sterling reputation as one of the most flexible and adaptable electroplaters onto plastic in Europe. We are continuously working to develop new materials and processes for plating in our own on-site laboratory facility, allowing us to conduct stringent tests to ensure that our products fully meet the requirements of any UK and EU directives. We are also pleased to offer this facility to customers, polymer manufacturers and chemical suppliers who wish to continue to develop the P.O.P process. QPP are also happy to give our expert advice on suitable materials for each customer's specific application and assist with the design process.

Additional Services

In addition to offering first class assistance in design and product development, Quality Plated Plastics offers its customers Total Project Management. Our clients can expect a professional service which includes the sourcing of mouldings, printing of plated and unplated mouldings and sub-assembly. At QPP, we work with several of our customers on a "just in time" basis and operate a Kan Ban service where required. We also have the facilities to produce "one off" prototypes in small volume runs.
