Architectural

We offer a wide range of architectural models. White models are used to emphasise the form of the design – straightforward models for display and study. Small-scale architectural model making is often used to illustrate how a new development will fit into a surrounding residential area – these kinds of models are ideal for public meetings and other audits. Housing development models are a convenient method for showing properties in their finished contexts. Internal layout models are suitable for making stylised and specialised design plans easily understood – specifically the internal layout of new developments. And larger-scale 3D models are used for larger models that allows for more scale when studying the plans.

Engineering

We also build a number of engineering models. Teaching models are an interpretation of engineering ideas – technical ideas rendered into clear and understandable model formats for educational and other purposes. Sales models allow industrial producers to show off their products without the challenges of the large size or heavy weight of full-size industrial equipment – lightweight models are ideal for selling industrial goods. Exhibition and museum models are ideal for displaying engineering equipment in a museum or other similar context. And prestige gift models allow us to meet that specialist need of producing a premium version of an industrial product for a special occasion.

Prototype

We offer an extensive prototyping model making service. Our prototypes range from small and simple acrylic pieces to large and complex or even full-size models. Foam models are quick to produce and extremely cheap while also allowing a tactile experience of a product design. Design resolution models are used from incomplete drawings to help designers resolve design questions or challenges with physical mock-ups. And finished appearance models are used for a full mock-up of a completed design before production begins.

Our model making skills can be turned to a huge range of other kinds of models. Our versatility is one of our calling cards. We have built all manner of non-standard models – clear domes, tricycle models, whiskey presentation boxes, traditional Irish dancing figures, and unnumbered other models.
