We always guarantee 100% installation and we offer next day delivery on all of our laminate flooring with the exception of Berry Floor that comes directly from Belgium and takes four days. Solid/Engineered Woods

Engineered wood is a fantastic bridge between laminate and wood flooring, offering the home owner all the benefits of both in one product. Made from several layers of wood pressed and glued together, engineered wood is more versatile than real wood and can be used on concrete and subfloors. It offers the appearance of real wood but is a less expensive option and is as easy to install as laminate. Engineered wood also works well with under floor heating.

Solid wood however is still the best alternative for heavy traffic areas as the panels are thicker and more durable. Another plus point of solid wood is that it can be sanded and refinished easily should any damage occur. At The Floor Trader we offer a range of solid and engineered wood from Woodpecker and Berry Floor.

We are able to provide everything from carpet tiles to designer flooring and no matter what the nature of your business we are able to use our endless list of suppliers to fulfil the requirements of your job. 

Fitting Service

Once you have chosen you ideal flooring it is imperative that it is fitted correctly in order to show it off to its full potential. Our fitters are trained and highly skilled to fit all the floor types that we stock. Our laminate, solid wood and engineered flooring are measured and fitted precisely with expert care and attention taken over every angle and each edge is perfectly mitred. We can skilfully install a full wooden staircase as well as cut and fit flooring into seemingly tricky or difficult areas. We are also able to proficiently fit and design the full range of Amtico and Karndean products.

Karndean

Karndean floors come in a wide selection of finishes, textures and colours and are designed to offer the homeowner a look that is bespoke to them. Hardwearing and long lasting, Karndean floors are also incredibly stylish and can be used in all areas of the homes, including kitchens and bathrooms.
