Southern Temperature Sensors Ltd is pleased to stock a comprehensive selection of high quality temperature sensor components including terminal heads and accessories, stainless steel and brass compression fittings, 3mm-22mm OD stainless steel tubing, plugs and sockets for thermocouples, RTD sensors and thermistor sensors, platinum RTD elements, bayonet components, PTFE tubing and sleeving. Alongside this we also hold stocks of many other non-compression fittings, such as plugs, locknuts, bushes, adaptors and nipples, and a variety of sensor specific turned parts including collars, armour crimps and pot-seals.
We have a wide selection of cable, wires and armour to choose from that will suit most requirements. Our thermocouple cable stock comprises the most commonly used configurations and we also stock bare wire and retractable cables. If you need something specific that we don’t have in stock then we can manufacture bespoke cables for you. Our RTD and signal cables feature a multi core and plated copper conductors allowing them to be used for a number of different purposes. Our stainless steel armour is available in either square lock or interlock varieties and comes in 3/32” to 6mm ID.

Our thermocouples are an economical way to attain temperature measurements and are available in either fabricated construction or mineral insulated (MI), plus we are also able to fabricate thermocouples to suit your specific requirements. Pockets and thermowells are widely used in the brewing industry as they enable sensors to be inserted and extracted very simply without the need for containers to be drained. We have a range of 316 stainless steel stock thermopockets that have been designed to be used in conjunction with 6mm probes and are available in a range of immersion lengths from 50mm to 300mm. Alongside our stock pockets we are also able to manufacture thermopockets to order. Simply supply us with a drawing or advise us of your specifications and we will provide you with a quote. For bespoke solutions are also able to assemble them with the appropriate fittings and adaptors for your specific needs.
