Ridge Marine Surveying Ltd

We are qualified Marine Surveyors for Yachts, Powerboats, Narrowboats covering North Wales marinas: Bangor, Conwy, Caernarfon, Holyhead, Pwllheli and Liverpool, Fleetwood and the inland waterways of  the North West and Midlands. We have been involved in the Marine Industry for over 30 years and are full members of the British Marine Federation.

Our principal surveyor is Gerry Ridge B.A, BMSE, AssocRINA. Gerry is a full member of the British Marine Surveyors, an Associate of the Royal Institution of Naval Architects and is a Graduate and Affiliate Member of the YDSA (Yacht Designers & Surveyors Association).

We have a background of experience in the marine industry including as delegate Marine Surveyors for the Seafish Industry Authority, who help to improve safety at sea for the fishing industry and provide such services as registration, survey and certification of vessels. Seafish surveyors work with boat builders and fishermen, providing guidance if needed, to ensure boats are built to a safe standard.

Gerry has also been an Authorised Examiner of commercial craft for MECAL, the MCA Certifing Authority.
