Racal Instruments is a member of the Racal Electronics Group and is able to draw upon a wide variety of resources not available to other companies in the test instrumentation and systems field. Racal Instruments produced the world's first compact electronic frequency counter in the late 1950's, thus introducing a range of products for which the company is still renowned. Most recently Racal has been responsible for some outstanding work in the field of RF synthesis and holds several patents on the subject.
