Press-on-Bands

Press-on-Band tyres offer a lower maintenance tyre for your forklift trucks and other vehicles – press-on-bands need to be replaced far less frequently than conventional tyres. Convenience and lower cost are the two benefits for your business. We offer any size of press-on-band tyre and we stock a range of industry-standard sizes. Wheel Re-Covering

Re-covering wheels, also known as wheel rebounding, is a service that QW offers to strip an existing wheel of its polyurethane layers and re-cover it in a new coating of polyurethane. We strip the wheel, cleaning any remnants of polyurethane, and then add a bonding agent before a customer-specified coating of new polyurethane is added. The wheel is then cured and trimmed. A final cleaning and painting of the central area of the wheel is followed by a close inspection of the finished product. Our long experience with polyurethane tyres can help us advise you whether your existing wheels have been coated with an incorrect material – and ensure that the rebonding process uses the best polyurethane for your needs.

Theme Park Wheels

QWheels is the preferred supplier for many UK theme parks – where polyurethane-covered wheels are often an essential component of the rides and diversions of the park.
