Peter Sefton is an award winning Master Craftsman and furniture maker with 27 years experience. 16 of those devoted to teaching and mentoring. The School is dedicated solely to teaching. It's what Peter and his staff focus on 100% of the time. There are neither commercial workshops nor commissions or restorations being undertaken at the School to distract from the learning environment. Your training is our priority. Our 9-month intensive English Furniture Making course provides 1560 hours of bench time and tutoring - most 2 year college courses only provide 2 days of tutoring a week and about 350 hours of bench time a year. That's what makes our course so appealing to many. You have a full day at your bench. The workshops are open from 8.30 am until 7.30 pm every week day for students to work on projects. You don't have to schedule your bench time. No other school in England offers these extended hours.
