When it comes to choosing the right Forklift truck, engine type is possibly the most important consideration. There are different options available, each with their own pros and cons.
Electric is a popular choice as it offers cheap, silent operation without any fumes- however they can't be left outside and are therefore more suited to indoor use.
LPG forklifts are versatile, can be used both indoors and outdoors and can handle frequent downtime, however they tend to be fairly expensive to run in comparison with other types.
Diesel forklifts offer a lot of power and are best suited to outdoor use but they also produce a lot of harmful fumes and aren't as cheap as electric.
