MFD is an independent manufacturer supplying customers in all fields of electronics. The company was established in 1969 as the first producer of close tolerance plastic film capacitors in the UK, & continues to operate from its purpose built base in North East Wales. We have numerous general purpose ranges & routinely produces thousands of different special designs for UK & international customers. Examples of specials include large suppression capacitors for most of the UK's power filter manufacturers, close tolerance polycarbonate for communications & defence, & fail-safe capacitors for railway signalling, polypropylene, polyester & polycarbonate capacitors. The speciality of one of our custom designs could be extremely close tolerance, high voltage rating, high current rating or could be as simple as a special size to fit in a confined situation. Our typical production time is three to four weeks from receipt of order.
