We can carry out calibration on all makes of climatic test chambers. Our expert and knowledgeable engineers provide calibration that conforms with national standards, either as a part of our service contract or as one-off events. We would recommend that calibration is carried out either annually or bi-annually, depending on individual circumstances. We offer a multi-point calibration service, as calibration is only valid at the point at which the measurement was taken. We therefore standardly use nine points, although this may vary. Once calibration is satisfactorily completed, a Certificate of Calibration is issued. When you need a replacement test chamber it isn’t always possible to buy one. If your requirements have outgrown the capability of your existing test chamber, it could be worthwhile considering refurbishment, rather than purchase. We have a team of experienced engineers who are adept at improving older test chambers and extending their useful life through upgrades or complete refurbishment. We understand that sometimes it can be cheaper and more convenient to repair a machine rather than replacing it outright. It is for this reason that we stock an extensive range of spare parts. It is worth noting that all of our spare parts are fully tested prior to being sold but are not supplied with a warranty. We can offer breakdown callout services for all of our customers, whether you have a service contract or not. We can even respond to breakdown callouts for chambers which are not manufactured by JTS. If you have a problem with your chamber you can contact us and an engineer will attempt to help you over the phone if they can. If the problem requires a visit in person then we will come out to you, diagnose the problem and provide you with a quote for the parts and labour which is required to fix the problem.
As well as offering chambers for purchases, customers can opt to hire chambers instead. It is worth noting that when hiring our chambers, customers are required to agree to an initial 4 week period after which they can renew or end their lease on a week to week basis. Like any piece of machinery, an environmental test chamber needs to be regularly and professionally serviced in order to keep it in top condition and to ensure that it continues to perform as you expect it to. There are also legal reasons for having your equipment serviced: in order to comply with FGAS regulations, any chamber which contains more than 3kg of refrigerant must be checked on an annual basis. Checks for gas leaks must also be made if you are to comply with EC legislation.
