Energy Monitoring

Keeping an eye on your energy usage is easy with our excellent monitors. The Northern Design Powerrail rail-mounted meters come with the option of harmonic measurement. They have pulse test functions and configuration displays and are warrantied for five years. Panel-mounted meters work for both three- and four-wire 3f unbalanced loads, and are perfect for heaters, motors and electronically controlled loads. They’ll always measure accurately, regardless of the category of load. If you need a web-enabled data logger, the Northern Design Cube IP400 has a standard RJ45 connector and employs such established network protocols as MODBUS TCP and Passive FTP.

Flow

Insteng retail all sorts of devices to enable you to track your flow. Rosemount 8705 magnetic flow meter systems are made from carbon and stainless steel. Their use of pulsed DC technology gives continuous automatic zeroing which compensates for fluctuations taking place in the process environment. Nixon industrial-type turbine flow meters can be used on both lubricating and non-lubricating liquids of up to medium-level viscocity. They are generally not affected by variations in temperature, pressure or density. Our water oil meters have both industrial and domestic applications and are available with either wet or dry dials.

Intrinsic Safety and Surge Protection

Make sure you’re fully up to date on your intrinsically safe and surge protection equipment. The MTL 700 series of intrinsically safe barriers are certified to global standards. They are all short-circuit proof and renowned for their earthing and mounting arrangements. Our ethernet equipment is appropriate for installation and maintenance in hazardous locations. The components can be mounted in a Zone 1 area and connected into Zone 0. The MTL 4500 intrinsic safety isolators have quick install-and-release mechanisms plus single- and multi-channel I/O modules. MTL Zonemaster protects key electronic systems, causing surges to be restricted at the chief service panel.

Temperature

There are lots of ways to check the temperature with the Insteng range of products. Humidity transmitters provide dual-channel measurements of temperature, humidity, delta T and dewpoint values. They can be programmed with USB-power configurators. Beka loop-powered temperature indicators feature prominent high-contrast displays and coated printed circuit boards and operate over very wide temperature ranges. For an adaptable option in every type of facility, consider our wireless temperature transmitters. They accept thermocouple and RTD sensors along with mV signals and slidewire, and have two choices of connecting heads. Bimetal temperature gauges come in hermetically sealed stainless steel cases which offer protection against the elements.

Thermal Imaging
