Geowarmth, established since 2004, are a North based supplier of renewable energy systems.  The Geowarmth team has a successful track record installing biomass and combined heat and power boilers, ground and air source heat pumps, solar thermal hot water and photovoltaic systems in residential, community, public and commercial schemes.

Heat pump installations include closed loop in trenches, boreholes and ponds and open loop systems.   The Geowarmth portfolio includes a number of significant heating and cooling schemes such as Bede Academy, Blyth (150kW from 40 bore holes), Prince’s Gate, London (also 150kW) plus a large volume of heating applications in schools, community buildings and residential properties.  We supply heat pumps from leading European manufacturers like Mitsubishi, Delonghi, Dimplex and Nibe.  We are MCS accredited installers and members of the Ground Source Heat Pump Association.

Our installation of both solar thermal and photovoltaic panels is similarly MCS accredited allowing clients to benefit from incentives such as the Feed In Tariff and the Renewable Heat Incentive.

Completing our renewables product range we also provide biomass boilers, wood burning stoves, heat recovery ventilation and combined heat and power boilers that generate both electricity and heat.

Geowarmth can provide a comprehensive integrated service and also install floor insulation, underfloor heating, domestic hot water as well as the renewable energy systems.  We have a thermal response test rig for measuring ground conductivity in closed loop boreholes and in-house ground loop design software.  We also undertake feasibility studies and provide CPD seminars and courses.

The Geowarmth team are all health and safety trained, hold CSCS cards and appropriate qualifications ranging from plumbing NVQs, Part P electrical, accredited renewable energy training to degrees in Environmental Management.
