Cotek Papers Ltd

Cotek is a leading European manufacturer of specialist release paper and film, concentrating principally on two sided and differential silicone coatings. We specialise in accurate and stable silicone release coatings on all types of paper, PET, HDPE, metallised PET, blown coloured PP, MOPP and BOPP film. A high proportion of our customers are involved in manufacturing double sided adhesive tapes, hot melt adhesive packaging, butyl mastic sealant and pre-preg composite fibre. We supply many other industries such as medical, graphic art, automotive, personal hygiene and bag closures. Our finished products can be jumbo reels up to 1600mm wide with 100% solids solvent free thermal cure or aqueous thermal cure or 1300mm wide for inerted UV cure. Sheets or cut shapes according to specific needs are also catered for. It is also worth noting that we have the ability to back print or print under the silicone in one colour to specific customer requirements.

Envelope Closure

Certain types of packaging, such as security bags or envelopes require specific methods of tamper evidence. One such method we have employed involves carefully controlling the release properties of the liner for the adhesive coating strip. Therefore we can provide a product that releases from the adhesive without prematurely activating the security features. These methods can be used with many other types of products including self-sealing envelopes which are used for charity collections, mail-order etc.

Tapes & Adhesives

We have a wide of tapes and adhesives, all of which have different requirements in terms of release performance and therefore different applications.
