We are a skippered yacht charter company. We focus on high quality, professional service on our sailing days, weekends and holidays. We are passionate about sailing and sharing that enthusiasm with those who sail with us. Our clients range from complete novices to Yachtmasters - so people need not worry about their levels of experience. Those on board - of any age - can choose to sit back and relax and enjoy the sailing or get involved and 'learn the ropes'.
Reviews
We have just finished our third summer season, operating on the Solent. We are delighted to have received such excellent TripAdvisor reviews and to have been awarded a Certificate of Excellence in 2013!
Skipper and Crew
We provide a friendly, highly qualified and experienced skipper to sail the yacht and also a member of crew to look after you. We know how to relate to people with courtesy, style and the utmost discretion. Most of our guests have never sailed before, so we love to share our passion for sailing with you and work hard to ensure that you have a relaxing day!
Yachts
We provide a high quality service to our guests, using beautiful, modern, luxury yachts in the Jeanneau fleet from 40 to 54 feet. At this link you can see the Jeanneau 49i yachts which we use on the Solent. These will give you a good perspective on the yachts, inside and out. The Jeanneau 49i accommodates up to 10 people for a day sail. For larger groups, we can provide more than one yacht.
Location
The yachts we use are based in Lymington in the heart of the New Forest, with easy access by road, rail and air. From Lymington, we are straight out onto the beautiful Western Solent. On a day or weekend sail from Lymington, your guests can visit harbours and anchorages at Cowes, Yarmouth or Newtown on the Isle of Wight, or Beaulieu or Hamble on the mainland - and also sail past the Needles to visit Poole and Studland Bay.
What We Do
Guests check in at Lymington Yacht Haven at 0900 for the Sail with Lunch or 1500 for the Sail with Dinner and then set sail on the Solent, with a glass of bubbly in hand! After a few hours sailing, we anchor off the Isle of Wight to serve a freshly prepared two-course meal on board the yacht. After the meal there is more sailing before we return to Lymington. We can also extend this to a full day booking, including lunch and afternoon tea.
Activities
We can offer your clients a package of other activities in the New Forest, on the Isle of Wight or on the Solent before, during or after their sail. For example, through our trusted partners we can organise mountain biking in the New Forest or watersports, including, for example, rib rides and jet skiing but the list of options is exhaustive.
Hotels & Conference Facilities
The majority of our 3000 guests each summer spend at least one night in the local area, before and/or after their day sail from Lymington. We have a good list of hotels to recommend and with whom we have a good relationship. For example, we offer excellent value for corporate hospitality where the clients stay and have a meeting at a local hotel, and then come to us for a day of sailing.
