IPAF Training Courses

We can offer a wide range of IPAF training courses, ranging in length from several hours all the way up to a whole day. Just some of the courses we have to offer include, static vertical training, static boom platform training, mobile boom platform training, push around vertical training, harness training, MEWPS for managers, loading and unloading as well as others. Pasma Training Courses

We have a number of Pasma training courses which are all put through the approved Pasma training centre. Some of the courses we offer include tower for user, low level access, combined tower/low level, towers for managers and working at height. Full course content such as syllabus and course length can be downloaded from the website. It is also worth noting that onsite training is available with some of these courses and this information can be ascertained by contacting us directly.

CAP Training Courses

We can provide comprehensive and effective Competent Assessed Persons (CAP) training courses. Our courses cover subjects such as the requirements and formulation of examination schemes, performance examination records and defect reporting. Candidates will be put through a group exercise and will be assessed by previous experience, theory testing, practical testing and will undertake a 15 minute individual interview. Asbestos Awareness Course

We now understand the danger of asbestos and the importance of education and this is why we offer a one day asbestos awareness course. The course will cover aspects such as properties of asbestos, health dangers, preventing exposure, managers responsibilities, safe work practices and emergency

procedures as well as many more. There is a maximum of eight delegates per course and the minimum age requirement is sixteen years. For any more information, you can visit the website. 

Abrasive Wheels Training Course

Our abrasive wheels course allows candidates to gain a great understanding of abrasive wheel safety as well as sound mounting techniques. Machinery which is covered within the course includes angle grinders, cut-off saws and bench top cut-off saws. The course requires a minimum of three delegates and can go up to a maximum of eight with any experience of operator accepted. IOSH Health & Safety Training Course

We can offer IOSH working safely and managing safely courses which meet the governments health and safety guidelines in full. Our working safely course lasts for one day and covers topics such as defining hazards and risks, common hazards, improving safety performance and protecting the environment. The managing safely course lasts for four days and includes a more in depth syllabus with topics such as risk assessment, legislation and measuring performance. Ladders and Steps Training Course

Ladders and steps are used in various different workplaces and jobs and this is why we offer a comprehensive course which is based upon the Work at Height Regulations. The ladders and steps course lasts half a day and covers topics such as health and safety, risk assessments, use and storage of equipment, personal protective equipment as well as much more. Participants will also be expected to complete a test paper, questions and review.

CPC Training Course

Our CPC training courses are aimed at LGV and PCV drivers who drive professionally within the UK. This form of training is a requirement of the EU Directive 2003/59 which was brought in to improve the skill-set and knowledge of professional LGV and PCV drivers. The course requires drivers to complete 35 hours of periodic training with the deadline for bus and coach drivers being the 9th of September, 2013 and for lorry drivers, the 9th of September 2014.

Service and Maintenance

Due to regulations passed in 1998, every owner of access equipment are legally obliged to have their machinery checked every six months by a professional and records must be kept. We can offer a full range of services including single inspections, regular six months inspections as well as servicing. Using our services means that you can take the hassle out of inspections and we will even allow you to spread the cost of annual servicing and maintenance.

Repair & Refurbishment

We also offer a fully equipped repair and refurbishment service which is suitable for a wide range of access platforms. However complex or large the job may be, we can help. We can take your machine to one of our regional repair centres and perform whatever process is required, from small repairs to total refurbishment. It is also worth noting that once your machine has been repaired we can offer you an up to date inspection report and test certificate.

Platform Hire

We have a selection of access platforms which can be hired for a set amount of time. Our machines can be hired for a single day, weekly, short term or even long term. Just some of the equipment which can be hired includes push around vertical lifts, scissor lifts, mast lifts, van mounted lifts and trailer mount platforms, as well as others. Our hiring service is offered at an extremely competitive rate and customers can contact us if they require a machine which is not listed on the website.
