Alchemy

We also offer database software from Alchemy. These applications allow you to manage a range of document and data formats – including scanned images, CAD files, web pages, text documents and emails - and they provide a variety of options for data capture, indexing, storage and archival management.

Alchemy software is easy to install and use; it requires no database management skills, no programming and no client-server expertise. User access can be provided via internet technologies, local area networks, intranet or portable media such as CD and DVD. 

Kodak Scanners

Datatron are pleased to offer an excellent range of scanners from market-leading document imaging experts Kodak. The Kodak range has virtually all requirements covered, so whatever you need to scan, we at Datatron have the answer.

Kodak scanners are renowned for their versatility, productivity and reliability. They offer scanning speeds of up to 210 ppm with all image processing features enabled. Plus they have the ability to quickly scan mixed batches of documents, so there’s no need to sort them before beginning the scanning process.

Document Scanning

Using a combination of the industry’s fastest, most accurate and reliable open track scanners and desktop machines, we are able to scan over 800,000 documents per week. The scanning technologies we use are able to capture all kinds of document shapes, colours and weights to a very high standard – even the poorest quality documents can reproduced in digital format. Whatever the volume, whatever the type and quality of your documents, we can handle it.

Our bureau service - which includes data archiving as well as document scanning - is available to all public and private sector organisations. 

Drawing Scanning

We also have two large format, full colour scanners for capturing architect’s/engineer’s drawings. These are able to produce remarkable images from even the oldest, most worn-out sheets of paper. Indeed, the first reaction of many of our customers when seeing their drawings on screen is that they look better than the originals – this is because our full colour machines are able to capture every detail, from highlighted mark-ups to complicated colour coded schematics.

Data Hosting

As well as scanning and archiving your records, Datatron is able to host them on its highly secure networks. We’ll provide you with remote access so that you can retrieve your data from anywhere in the world. With hosted services you don’t have to worry about managing your files, and there's no need for you to back everything up in case of disaster - all of the data we hold is mirrored to an off-site location and backed up to tape on a daily basis.
