RA708 Series

The RA798 series of phones are enclosed with a corrosive and weather resistant, cast aluminium case. The unit also has a self closing door which helps in the protection against dust and moisture ingress, ensuring the product remains undamaged. The actual handset is manufactured using moulded polyurethane and has been designed to withstand heavy use in many different environments. Customers are also reminded that the unit can be fitted with an armoured cord for extra protection against vandalism or heavy use. The RA708 series has been designed for use by railways, power stations and the armed services .

RA711 Series

The RA711 series are vandal resistant telephones that are based on a stainless steel faceplate. As well as offering a clear, hands free speaking operation, the phones provide an excellent solution for the problem of vandalism. Although the phones have been designed to tackle this specific problem they can be used in many different situations and are extremely easy to install. The series is also available with various keypad configurations, including full keypad, single, two and three button auto-dial options.

GSM/GSM-R Telephones

Environments that lack a comprehensive communications infrastructure can raise many problems for people. Our GSM range of telephones can provide the solution for this problem and more. These phones are easy to install and have been designed to withstand even the most difficult of environments. The units are completely self sufficient thanks to a built-in solar panel and are designed to operate with minimal power requirements. The GSM range is also extremely reliable and can connect to the GSM network in less than four seconds.

VoIP Series

Currently, we can only offer the RA711 VoIP range but we are working on the RA708 VoIP and this should be available to customers soon. As well as being manufactured to a high standard, the RA711 VoIP range is also completely SIP compliant and operates in full-duplex mode. The units are also simple to program and have a non-volatile memory which ensures that stored settings and numbers are not lost in the event of a power cut. The range has many possible applications but is especially ideal within prisons, court houses, train stations, police stations and hospitals.

'Tuff' Handset

The 'Tuff' handset is moulded in polyurethane and has been designed to withstand the effects of use within difficult environments. Available as an OEM product, the 'Tuff' handset can be used to enhance the durability of other units that may have suffered due to vandalism or even as a way to improve the overall look of the device. Additional security can be guaranteed with the optional fitting of an armoured cord instead of the standard robust curly cord. The handset is also available with a number of different options, including magnets, push to talk switches and different transducer combinations.

Triorail GSM-R Products

We are proud to be the sole distributor for Triorail within the UK and it is thanks to this that we can provide our customers with GSM/GSM-R products. Some of the devices manufactured by Triotrail include modules, terminals, phones and test tools supporting GPRS, EDGE and ASCI. The Triotrail company can provide units with many benefits including the latest chipset technology, a wide range of transmission standards, a high flexibility through modularisation and of course an overall high quality.

Accessories

We have a wide range of accessories which can be purchased alongside our main telephone products. Some of the accessories available include different colours of LED beacons which can be used to highlight the location of a telephone in an environment. We also offer acoustic hoods which can envelop the telephone area and allow a person to make a clear and weather resistant phone call in any condition. Other products within our accessories section include solar panels, tone callers and Xenon beacons.

Network Rail Approved

Following extensive trials and product testing, we have received Network Rail Acceptance for our range of Vandal and Weather Resistant Telephones. Our certificate of acceptance was issued in 2009 and this allowed Network Rail the ability to install our RA708 and RA711 telephones on the UK network rail. The scope of this acceptance covers lineside, direct line, platforms, operational circuits (SPTs), public area and user worked crossing applications. We are continuing our work to obtain full GSM-R acceptance in line with Network Rail's strategy to complete their GSM-R networking commissioning.
