CoLa Training Services specialises in all aspects of materials handling training, including forklift truck operation, ladders and platforms, health and safety and first aid. We provide enjoyable, interesting and hands-on courses that give students the knowledge and confidence they need to use their newly-acquired skills in the workplace. Our aim is to help you comply with current Health & Safety at Work regulations by ensuring your staff are properly trained and qualified in all areas of materials handling.  

All of our courses are delivered by experienced, fully qualified instructors and, if required, can be tailored to your particular requirements so that the course content is relevant to you and your working environment. 

Courses can be conducted either on your premises or at our training centre in Boston, Lincolnshire.

Forklift Training

We currently offer three forklift training courses:

• 1 Day Refresher Course – Designed for trained and certified forklift truck operators whose license is due for renewal. 
• 2-3 Day Forklift Training Course – This course is designed for those with extensive on-the-job experience (longer than 12 months) but who have had no formal training and do not hold a certificate. 
• 3-5 Day Forklift Training Course – This course is ideal for those with no previous experience of operating materials handling equipment. 

All courses follow the guidelines suggested by the HSE’s Approved Code of Practice. 

First Aid Training

The Health & Safety First Aid Regulations of 1981 require all businesses to have at least one trained first aider onsite (or more, depending on the size of the company). Failure to comply could lead to prosecution. CoLA Training is here to make sure you do. We provide accredited primary first aid training courses that give your staff members the knowledge, skills and confidence needed to deal with accidents in the workplace and provide primary care as needed.
