We are pleased to offer two fantastic cased current transformers; the E40 Series Cased CT and the E64 Series Cased CT. Both models have been expertly designed and manufactured to meet BS3938, BS7626, BSEN 60044-1 and IEC185 standards. They have been carefully constructed to provide maximum reliability and can be supplied with optional extras including sealable a sealable terminal cover, busbar clamp and flame-retardant casing which complies to UL94VO grade. At ARW Transformers, we have developed our range of resin-cast current transformers over a number of years to meet the requirements of various metering applications. Our transformers feature a polyester resin and are suitable for applications requiring 0.66/0.72kV insulation. They are terminated with M6 screws and various mould tool sizes are available. Our team of designers are on hand to discuss your CT specifications and offer advice on the suitability of transformers within your moulding choice.
Our split-core current transformers are suitable for use with applications requiring 0.72kV insulation. They can feature encapsulated polyester resin or be supplied as a plain taped current transformer. These units are also available as either a single ratio or multi-tapped (up to four ratios). All of our transformers are manufactured to incredibly high standards and are designed to be reliable and long-lasting.
ARW Transformers offers three main types of summation transformers.
The range includes:
Moulded Case – which features windings enclosed in a plastic moulded, VO flame retardant case. Eight primaries can be fitted with a maximum accuracy of CLO.2 at 7.5VA burden.
Ring Type – a normal ring CT with primary windings terminated to a terminal board.
Resin-Cast Type – the windings in this unit are encapsulated in a polyester resin. Four primaries may be fitted with a maximum accuracy of CLO.2 at 5VA burden.
All of our summation transformers are suitable for 720V systems and feature M% terminals for primary and secondary connections.
Our moulded-case utility transformers are popular with the Utility and Switchgear markets where they are able to cover BS3938, BS7626, BSEN 60044-1 and IEC 185 requirements. These transformers can be supplied with a range of optional extras including a sealable terminal cover, busbar clamp, flame retardant casing (complies to UL94VO grade) and 3.6kV insulation. ARW Transformers supplies wound and bar type transformers.
3.6/ 7.2kV Resin-cast Wound – units in this range are typically used for measuring overcurrent and earth leakage protection in motor control boards and switchgear. The coils in these units are cast in epoxy resin and can be supplied in two different sizes for each ratio. Our wound transformers are supplied with terminal screws and mounting brackets.
12kV Primary Current Transformer – manufactured from high conductivity flat copper bar, contained in a synthetic resin bonded paper tube filled with epoxy resin. This primary bar is designed to cover BS3938, BS7626, IEC185 and BSEN 60044-1 standards.

We are pleased to supply a fantastic range of 3-phase transformers. Transformers in this range are suitable for system voltages of up to 720V. All units are double wound with an earth screen and no tappings. They feature Class B insulation and wires are terminated in flying leads 300mm long. Our 3-phase transformers can be supplied with optional extras including a terminal board with stockblock terminals, a frame mounted terminal block, mounting in a metal enclosure and tapped windings. Single Phase – these transformers are double wound and vacuum cast as a single block. All materials are rust resistant and terminations can be tailored to suit customer requirements.
Three Phase – our three phase transformers are manufactured in much the same way as our single-phase units except the three coils are cast together in a single block.

We have been supplying our fine quality single-phase voltage transformers to customers for many years. These single ratio transformers are untapped and fitted with earth screens and Class B temperature rated materials. Our toroidal transformers are widely used for applications where standard transformers are unsuitable as they provide customers with greater dimensional flexibility. Toroidal transformers are limited to a maximum voltage of 660V and an output of 2kVA, however the number of windings and/or tappings can be flexible. They are generally supplied with flying leads, however tag strips can be supplied if required. Various fixings are available and arrangements can be created to suit specific customer requirements.
