Stepper Motors

We offer a comprehensive range of stepper motors from Nanotec GmbH, an approved manufacturer that has been providing customers with reliable support in the implementation of drive solutions for twenty years. The engineers at Nanotec are capable of developing the optimum mechanical and electronic design that is tailored to customer applications - In fact, approximately 70% of the motors they produce are designed in-line with customer requirements. In addition to standard hybrid high-torque stepper motors with step resolution of 1.8° or 0.9°, the ST2018 series with 20mm diameter and the ST11018 series with a 110mm diameter and 25Nm torque are also available. Low-cost or Can-stack stepper motors can also be supplied.

Inclinometers

Alldrives and Controls makes available a selection of inclinometers from Sensorex for measuring inclination and tilt with respect to gravity. Our range of digital and servo inclinometers offer incredible accuracy, no matter how harsh the environment. For stabilised, precision measurement, an inertial mass and optical sensor are associated in a servo feedback. Whatever your requirements, and however accurate you need your measurements to be, Sensorex has the servo or digital technology inclinometer that is just right for you.

LVDTs

A range of LVDT sensors are available from Alldrives and Controls Ltd. The SX20MD incorporates a digital hybrid module (HCN) for improved accuracy. It allows a non-linearity better than ± 0.05 % of full scale on the output signal. The SX20MD measurement range is from ± 2.5 mm to ± 150 mm, and features RS485 ModBus and analogue 0/10V and 4-20mA digital output. We also supply the SX9W3, a miniature LVDT transducer with 3mm stroke and linearity <025% FS (0,1% optional). The SX12 C-K-W is an LVDT displacement transducer with a 6 to 300mm stroke, < 0.15% FS linearity, and with minimal thermal drift. Three-Phase/Single-Phase Motors

Alldrives & Controls Ltd offer a broad selection of 3-phase and single-phase motors. The former variety come in 2-pole, 4-pole and 8-pole arrangements and have been developed to achieve a breakaway torque far greater than the nominal. The resulting high dynamic is critical in a number of applications. Our single-phase AC motors are variants of our 3-phase motors, with the addition of an auxiliary phase for connecting a capacitor. Nominal torque and breakaway torque are almost identical. Single-phase motors are ideal for situations where a 3-phase power supply is unavailable. All of the single and 3-phase motors available from Alldrives & Controls Ltd can be supplied with temperature monitors, brakes and analogue or digital tachos as optional extras.

EC Motors

These state of the art, electronically commutated DC motors are available as EC or compact EC motors with mounted electronics. The former are connected to an AC power supply via an electronic unit, while the latter are connected to a 24V DC supply. Both EC and compact EC motors offer outstanding efficiency and power density, an excellent starting torque, and a high dynamic (low moment of inertia). Temporary overload capability and integrated demagnetisation safety measures improve overall reliability.

Brushed DC Motors

These provide the most economical solution for drive engineering with simple speed control. Brushed DC motors are connected to an AC power supply via an electronic control unit. Where space is at a premium, permanently excited DC motors are the preferred choice. In cases where space is no issue, shunt wound DC motors are a solid choice.
