The Council is seeking quotes for street recycling bins & benches.
As part of an on-going Litter Minimisation Strategy the Council will be replacing its town centre general waste bins with Recycling bins (Cans, Bottles & General Waste in one unit). The pilot for this project will Huntingdon with intentions to roll this out further throughout the District should this prove itself to be successful.
The Council is also looking to replace all on street wooden benches with new units made of recyclable plastic.
