Description

Northamptonshire CCGs are looking for a provider interested in working with the CCGs to develop and review a proof of concept / 12 month pilot service. The pilot will seek to provide a service that delivers care and support/ treatment for people who are suffering with the ongoing effects of Acute confusional state, but who are medically fit.

Providers will need to be able to demonstrate the following:

• A history of managing vulnerable patients with an acute confusional state

• A CQC registration that includes:

o Accommodation for persons who require nursing or personal care

o Treatment of disease, disorder or injury

Specialisms/services

o Caring for adults over 65 years

o Caring for adults under 65 years

o Dementia

• Ability to offer up to 10 beds/appropriate service model offering the same capacity.

• Ability to provide a nurse led service with medical cover/ supervision as required to include both Adult and Mental Health

• Commitment to work within the financial envelope of £580,000 (incl of VAT)

• Ability to offer beds based in Northamptonshire

• Ability to flex bed provision throughout the year

• Willingness to engage in open and honest discussions with commissioners around what is working well/ not so well and help to formulate and develop a future model

• Willingness to collate and submit robust data, to evidence achievement; undertake quality reviews

• Commitment to delivering a safe, effective service with quality outcomes

Organisations are strictly advised not to contact the commissioners at any point of time.

Only those providers who are able to satisfy the requirements set out in the form will be invited to participate in the next stage of the procurement process, a discussion/workshop to be held on 29th July 2019 from 11:30am. The agenda and venue to be circulated closer to the date. Interested organisations are requested to hold this date in their diaries (a maximum of 3 representatives per organisation).
