Description

The School of Computing at Newcastle University is seeking to appoint a supplier(s) for its Desktop Computer requirements for the areas and volumes specified in the Request for Quotation document. There are 2 Lots available, as described below, each of which will be assessed (and awarded) individually:

Lot 1- Urban Science Building - ACS Teaching Lab 2018

120 computers to match the exact specification of general teaching PC's. This includes a replacement of 86 lab computers which are 4.5 years old as well as the increased number of social area/drop-in stations throughout the building.

Note that NO monitors are needed for this purchase, as they will be supplied largely from existing stock, or already have suitable screens

Lot 2 - Urban Science Building - Games Engineering Teaching Lab 2018

90 computers (and 134 monitors) to replace the 51 current Games Engineering PC's, plus an expansion since the course is anticipated to expand significantly this summer, based on current applications.

Please note this opportunity is only being made available to manufacturers on Lot 1 of the existing NDNA Desktop Computing Framework. The Terms and Conditions which shall apply to this contract are those of the NDNA.
