This market sounding exercise is being undertaken to obtain the views of potential contractors in the market place to inform our procurement process and proposed strategy. The market sounding exercise does not form part of any formal procurement process. Any information provided by the Council in the course of this market sounding will not be made available to bidders under any subsequent tendering process. This document provides background information on the servicing, repair and installation works together with a number of questions designed to explore: • Your appetite for bidding for a contract for the provision of gas servicing & Repairs and associated responsive & planned installation works to stock totalling: § Lot 1 - South - c.11,000 Properties - Estimated £3m per annum § Lot 2 - East - c.14,500 Properties - Estimated £4m per annum § Lot 3 - West - c.17,000 Properties - Estimated £4.5m per annum § Lot 4 - Belle Isle (BITMO) - c1,900 Properties - Estimated £600k per annum • Your observations regarding packaging structure / strategy • Your views on any issues with respect to providing the services and possible solutions. It is our intention to use this information to inform the procurement process. Please provide as much information as possible in order for us to obtain as full a picture as possible. However, we would appreciate specific answers to the questions raised, rather than the attachment of extensive technical or promotional information.
