Description

On behalf of Consortium Procurement, Marsh is the appointed insurance broker to this entity and we currently place 32,000 policies via social housing landlords with Royal Sun Alliance (RSA) as the incumbent insurer.

We are about to enter a formal UK/PCR Compliant tender process (competitive with negotiation) to procure a home contents insurance scheme for the existing policyholders - the framework commencement date is 1 April 2022 and will last for a period of four years.

Management information will be supplied to allow interested parties to understand the following:

- Policy wording/specification

- Scheme take up (number of policyholders and average sums insured)

- Average age of policyholders

- Payment methods and frequencies

- Core and optional covers available

- Churn

- Claims performance

- Gross Written Premium and Earned Loss Ratio

- Marketing and budget expectations

The Selection Questionnaire is due to be issued on Friday 6 August 2021 - this will pre-qualify entrants to the tender process. In order to take part, interested parties will be expected to collect premiums from individual tenants and perform the administrative process of renewals and mid-term changes, for which a commission is payable.

Prior to the issue of the ITT you are invited to a Meet the Buyer day, provisionally scheduled for Wednesday 14 July 2021.
