Wolverhampton City Council (the Council) are seeking to procure a suitably qualified and experienced Contractor for the relocation of the existing plant room within Parkfield High School. The existing boiler plant and equipment is approximately 30-40 years old, various repairs have been undertaken over the past few years to keep the plant operational for the children and staff whom reside within the building. The relocation of the plant room includes the relocation of the boiler and associated mechanical, electrical and builders work. There has been an environmental encapsulation of the walls and floor in the past six months, due to flaking asbestos residue and Contractors should be qualified and experienced operating within this environment. The proposed terms and conditions for this project are the JCT Intermediate Contract 2016. It is assumed that any Contractor returning a tender for this requirement will have a copy and is familiar with these terms and conditions and will have previous experience of executing contracts on this basis.
