Description

Planned maintenance and responsive repairs to communal heating Systems.

The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, Housing Management Department is seeking an experienced contractor, who possess a high level of skill, to deliver the planned maintenance and response repairs services for the communal heating, hot water, ventilation plant, sewage and storm water pumps, cold water booster sets and associated installations systems in residential blocks at locations across the Borough.

The programme being procured will use the JCT 2016 Measured Term Form of Contract, running from November /December 2020 for four years. The housing stock served by the communal plant consists of approximately 4600 dwellings or properties ranging from tower blocks up to 35 storeys to single Victorian street houses.

The Contract Agreement term offered is 4 years (with a 2 year break clause). The contract may be extended for a period of up to a further 48 months in 12 month or 24 month intervals, subject to satisfactory performance at the sole discretion of the authority. The value of the contract may therefore increase up to a total of £8,000,000.
