MIDAS WLR Water Level Recorder

The MIDAS WLR Water Level Recorder replaces the Model 730T as our Water Level Recorder/ Seabed Tide Gauge. The MIDAS WLR has been expertly designed to suit long or short term deployments in offshore environments or where traditional shore-based tide gauge is impractical. It can be moored in-line or to the seabed and is fitted with a 0.01% accuracy pressure sensor and acetal housing suitable for up to 500m depth rating. A deep water titanium housed option is also available.

MIDAS CTD+ Multiparameter Profiler

This innovative Multi-Parameter CTD features Valeport’s very latest 400 Series electronics, allowing it to sample all fitted sensors at exactly the same moment, at up to 8Hz. A range of standard sensors are available, and an advanced setup software allows for a wide variety of sampling regimes – including burst modes, delay starts, and conditional sampling. With an internal battery pack, up to 64mb memory, and a selection of real time output formats, the MIDAS CTD+ is ideal for both profiling and fixed mooring applications. You can find out more about the MIDAS CTD + by visiting the Valeport website, where datasheets and manuals can be downloaded.

MIDAS SVX2 Combined CTD/SVP

We recognise the conflict faced by users who require the superior Sound Velocity data from an SVP yet still need the Salinity and Density data from a CTD. That’s why we developed the MIDAS SVX2, an instrument unique to Valeport that combines two technologies to give the best of both worlds. Fitted with a 0.01% pressure sensor as standard, the SVX2 uses synchronised sampling to give perfect profiles.  And, because our highly acclaimed digital “time of flight” SV sensor is the most accurate in the world, the user is also able to compare the true sound velocity data with that generated by commonly used equations. Find out more about the MIDAS SVX2 Combined CTD/SVP online at Valeport.co.uk.
