Rother District Council and Wealden District Council are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced operator for Tourism Information Services to be delivered efficiently across the two districts.

Rother District Council requires a supplier to provide and manage Visitor Information Services across the district. It will include the operation, management and monitoring of 3 Tourist Information Points (TIPs, based in Battle, Bexhill and Rye) and a minimum of 18 Local Information Points (LIPs, of which there are currently 30). The contract will require the supplier to actively promote the 1066 Country campaign and events, attractions, places of interest and facilities across the District. This will also include engaging with local organisations to facilitate the hosting of the TIPs and LIPs.

Wealden District Council requires a supplier to distribute the "Wealden Do the Best Attractions" Leaflet to local businesses, meeting points & places of interest within the local area and surrounding areas up to 2 � hours' drive from Wealden's boundary. This would involve 96,000 of these leaflets distributed per annum
