• Cryoprotection™ All Ziath 2D barcode scanners are available with a cryoprotection coating, which prevents the build-up of condensation on the under-side of the scanner window. The occurrence of condensation whilst scanning 2D datamatrix tubes straight from cryogenic storage is well known. Ziath's proprietary coating completely eliminates the occurance, and ensures uninterrupted scanning. Also, as we do not use an internal fan as the solution, there is no additional noise emitted from our scanner. Tests were performed on all our 2D barcode scanners to show the efficiency of the Cryoprotection™. Cryogenically frozen 2D barcoded tubes were taken straight from the freezer and scanned, using the Ziath DataPaq 2D barcode scanners with and without Cryoprotection™.
• CryzoTraq™ Ziath’s range of CryzoTraq™ cryogenic vials are designed for cryogenic storage of biological specimens at temperatures as low as -196°C. The range features outstanding leak resistance with a LDPE compression ring moulded into the screw cap. The tubes are available in 2ml or 5ml volumes with an internally or externally threaded cap.
• DataPaq™ Software DataPaq™ is the control software for Ziath’s popular range of 2D barcode scanners. It is designed to be very easy-to-use with a “one-click” calibration. With attractive user interfaces and a large central “scan” button, DataPaq™ is easy to use with minimal training requirements.
• TraceTraq™ Ziath’s range of TraceTraq™ high density tubes are designed to optimise storage of biological samples at temperatures as low as -196°C. All tubes feature a permanent, laser etched 2D barcode at the base of the tube, which when combined with Ziath’s DataPaq™ scanner and software options, provides a fast & efficient solution for managing and tracking your precious samples. Each tube has a unique code and coordinates within a rack, which when decoded with the scanner guarantees that every sample is assigned a unique identity and location. Each rack has a linear barcode and human readable code lasered onto the side. For automation orientation recognition there is a matching 2D barcode lasered onto the base of the rack. With a compression ring moulded into the screw cap, TraceTraq™ caps feature outstanding leak resistance. The tubes are available in 0.75ml or 1.4ml volumes.
