Bead Application

Universal Adhesive Systems offers a range of sophisticated bead application systems. Frequently used in the packaging industry, our bead applications are ideal for constructing cardboard boxes which utilise multiple beads of adhesive to bond the seams of the box. This is achieved by jetting a line of hot melt onto the desired material. Typically a system consists of a melt tank, heated hose and a handgun or BF head. The width of the bead is predominantly determined by the nozzle type and we are able to change the length  by using our advanced pattern controllers. In addition to the highly-advanced bead application systems that we supply, we also stock a full range of spares and alternative nozzles to suit your individual requirements.

Spray Application

We supply a range of highly efficient and affordable spray application devices that provide a non-contact solution and have options for either intermittent or continuous lay down of adhesive. Slot Die Application

Universal Adhesive Systems are experts in the field of slot die application and our comprehensive range of dies allow for coating widths ranging between 1mm - 2 metres to suit your requirements. Typically consisting of an S Series melt tank, one or more heated hoses and a die, our flexible systems are capable of achieving precision coatweights via gear-to-line control of the melt tank pump. Altering the angle and approach position of the die is made simple through an automated process for which we are able to supply air actuated or motorised dies. Depending on the end user's requirements, adhesive may be applied in continual lines or intermittent patches.

Heated Hoses

Universal Adhesive Systems is pleased to offer a quality selection of heated hoses in a wide variety of lengths and can also produce bespoke hoses  to suit your application. The Gemini Automatic hose offers dual heating and sensing circuitry for increased reliability in demanding environments  by providing an automatic changeover system in the event of sensor or heater failure /damage. Dynaflex hoses are available in lengths from 0.6-15 metres.

Bulk Adhesive Melters

If you require adhesive melters to cope with high volume production demands then we have the systems for you. The DM55 Dynadrum bulk adhesive melter provides uninterrupted flow of hot melt adhesive, helping to ensure maximum efficiency is achieved. We also supply the Covert-A-Drum bulk adhesive melter that includes a 5 stage melt-on-demand system, an Allen Bradley SLC-504 control package, and up to 6 gear-pumps with 1hp AC brushless motors.
