Utility Meter

Trimec’s UM Series of flowmeters are specifically designed for monitoring or controlling the flow of small to medium volumes of water, diesel fuels, or non-volatile low viscosity liquids. They are available in blind configurations with dual pulsed outputs, or with an onboard, self-powered register to display rate, total and batch total. Utility Meters are able to handle liquids bearing a degree of suspended solids thanks to an integrated inlet strainer screen that captures larger particles. They come in a robust IP66 field-mountable housing and feature PIN protected programming.

Batching System

Trimec’s EC high speed batching systems are assembled and packaged ready for installation and are pre-configured for the most common liquid transfer applications found across multiple industries. They are particularly suitable for small to medium volumes of water or other low viscosity liquids, which is why they are commonly used by companies operating in the food and beverage, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, paint and chemicals, adhesives and building products industries. EC batching systems benefit from a high speed count, automatic overrun compensation and a remote start/stop function. Visit our website today to find out more.

Additive Injection Metering Manifold

The Trimec Additive Injection Metering Manifold (AIM) is a compact manifold assembly made entirely from stainless steel. It features isolating valves, flow regulating valves and check valves, a fine mesh strainer, solenoid valve and a precision oval gear flowmeter. To ensure optimum installation flexibility, the AIM has been designed with outlet elbows that can be arranged in three different orientations. It also easy to service in-situ and will work with any controller or TAS system. For more information, please visit our website where you download a full PDF datasheet.

Filters

Trimec offers a range of Y-Type and Basket Filters which are designed to provide protection to the flowmeter and ancillary equipment such as valves and non-return valves. They are available with process connections to suit the flowmeter, and can be coupled to all rotary piston and oval gear meters if required. All of our filters benefit from a robust stainless steel construction and an easy-clean design with a removable screen or basket.

Positive Displacement Flowmeters

Micropulse positive displacement flowmeters offer excellent levels of accuracy and repeatability, and are suitable for a number of flowrate measurement and in-flow monitoring applications, including totalising when batching. They can handle flows from 0.5 to 550 litres per hour, and can be used with a range of clean liquids, including viscous lubricants, chemicals, food bases and non-conductive, low-viscosity solvents. Micropulse small capacity positive displacement flowmeters feature stainless steel rotors and ceramic bearings. Intrinsically safe, explosion proof models are also available.

Turbine Turbopulse Flowmeters

Turbopulse Industrial Series turbine flowmeters are designed for volumetric flow measurement of clean, low viscosity liquids. Precise, reliable and robust, these are amongst the very best flowmeters in the industry. A stainless steel construction with tungsten carbide bearings ensures long-lasting performance even when used with aggressive, non-lubricating liquids, making them suitable for a range of petrochemical and general industrial applications. Turbopulse flowmeters are available in 15 sizes, from 15mm to 500mm, with a variety of process connections (BSP/NPT/ANSI or DIN). Visit Trimec online for more information.

Dualpulse Insertion Meters

With an innovative design that combines time-proven technology and modern engineering materials, Trimec dual pulse insertion transducers provide a highly reliable, cost-effective means of measuring flow in a wide variety of low viscosity liquids. A robust stainless steel construction with IP68 ingress protection ensures a long service life and guarantees performance when submersed (and when subjected to high pressures).

Flow instruments

BT self-powered totalisers benefit from ultra-low power consumption and an innovative design that simultaneously displays resettable total and cumulative total in engineering units programmed by the user. They are able to compute and display totals from flowmeters or machinery with frequency, sine wave or pulse outputs. A self-powered, 8-digit LCD display provides the measurement reading to extend battery life, while a robust housing with a protective cover extends the overall life of the unit. Intrinsically safe options are available. For more information, please visit Trimec online or get in touch with our technical sales team on 01444 417880.

Variable Area Flowmeters

Filton Process Control Engineering offers a wide selection of variable area flowmeters. Our excellent range features robust and reliable models suitable for most process gases and liquids.
