P A Testers is an Oxfordshire based company with over 21 years of experience in testing portable electrical appliances in schools, colleges, hospitals, laboratories, offices, shops, factories, leisure centres, pubs, clubs, hotels, restaurants and domestic premises.

Our knowledgeable and experienced team of technicians at P A Testers provide a fast and reliable service with minimum disruption. The testing can also be undertaken outside of normal working hours if required. Our technicians are City & Guilds qualified, CRB/DBS checked and adhere to the IET Code of Practice for In-Service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment.

Services we offer.

a) Identify, number, inspect and test all electrical portable appliances.

b) Label each item with a unique bar code, the test date and its condition at time of testing.

c) Replace any defective standard 13 amp square pin plugs FREE of Charge.

d) Exchange incorrectly rated fuses FREE of Charge.

e) Rewire any wrongly or badly wired plugs FREE of Charge.

f) Provide Certificate of Testing, summarising the overall number of tests carried out, the failures and the number of plugs replaced, re-wired and fuses replaced.

g) Produce an inventory in numerical order of the portable appliances with their unique bar-code number, location, test date, retest date and test result.

h) Maintain computerised results and provide copies as and when reasonably possible.
