Accelerometer

We offer a great range of accelerometers to cover a wide variety of applications. Current models include:

• Sussex Sensors ATEX approved, two-axis accelerometers up to 550hz.
• ASC 4421 single axis accelerometer available in ranges from +/-2g up to +/-200g.
• ASC 5421 & 5721 two or three-axis accelerometers in ranges from +/-2g up to +/-200g.
• ASC offshore accelerometers, fully submersible to 10m, in ranges from +/-2g to +/- 400g.
• InnaLabs Inn-202 Navigation Grade accelerometers, with a range of +/- 50g.
• InnaLabs Inn-203 Tactical Grade accelerometers, with a range of +/- 50g.
• InnaLabs Inn-204 High Stability Tactical Grade accelerometers, with a range of +/- 30g.
• Inertial Measurement Unit, six axes accelerometer with three gyro's and three linear accelerometers, gyro ranges from 60 degrees/second to 1500 degrees/second and accelerometer ranges from +/2g to +/500g.

Torque Transducers

Our torque transducers are manufactured by Datum Electronics, one of the world’s leading sensor specialists. Datum transducers offer rotational and static torque measurement from 10Nm to 60,000Nm as standard, with either a digital or analogue interface. 

The highly popular M420 series rotary toque transducer from Datum has been designed to work with most applications requiring rotary torque measurement. 

Precision Electronic Compasses

Precision electronic compasses from ZC-Sensors are used in navigation, robot navigation, aero model positioning, aerial positioning and in various handheld instruments. Models supplied by Sussex Sensors include:

• ZCC330-232 3-axis precision electronic digital compass with tilt compensation and RS232/TTL output, accuracy to within 0.6° and resolution 0.1°. 
• ZCC320-232 3-axis precision electronic digital compass with RS232/484 output and accuracy to within 0.5°.
• ZCC220 2-axis 'low cost' precision electronic digital compass module with either RS232 or TTL output and accuracy to within 0.8°.
• ZCC211 2-axis small size and low cost electronic compass module with RS232 or TTL outputs.

Mechanical Measuring Instruments

Mechanical measurement instruments supplied by Sussex Sensors include: 

• Mikrokator – the finest mechanical comparator in the world, with graduation from 0.005mm to 0.0001mm. Benefits from a purely mechanical measuring operation that is completely free from friction and backlash. A rugged design makes it suitable for harsh workshop environments. 
• Dial Gauges – with measuring ranges from 0.4mm to 10mm, with 0.01mm graduation and accuracy to DIN 878. Shock proof versions are also available. 
• Combicheck – a flexible system of standard measuring elements for building inspection fixtures. Can be supplied with CEJ measuring indicators, Mikrokators, dial gauges, LVDT based gauging systems and pneumatic measuring devices.

Signal Conditioning And Data Acquisition

Signal conditioning and data acquisition products offered by Sussex Sensors include:

• PewaLeg – a four channel, hand-held, battery-operated data acquisition system from Pewatron. 
• Vibetracker 1090 – a vibration tracking data acquisition system from EE, with integrated accelerometer.
• Shocktracker 1099 – a shock data acquisition system, also from EE. 
• Model INT-2 – a general purpose signal conditioner compatible with most sensors and transducers.
• Eagle Technology Flexible Data Acquisition Systems – with A/D, D/A, digital I/O temperature input and USB, Serial, Wireless, PCI and PCI104 interfaces.

Pressure Transducers

We offer our very own range general purpose pressure transducers, including several very high pressure versions. The range includes:

• Low cost pressure transducers – for ranges from 0-350mBar to 0-700 BarG, with 1-5VDC or 4-20mA outputs.
• DMP334 high pressure transducers – for ranges from 0-600 Bar up to 0-2200 Bar, with an accuracy of +/- 0.25%.
• HP1000 very high pressure transducers – for ranges from 0-400 Bar up to 0-4000 Bar. Suitable for most media applications.
• General purpose industrial pressure transducers – for ranges from 500mBar to 700 Bar, with an accuracy of +/-0.1%. Models feature 12 electric input and output options, 7 electrical connections and 16 process fittings.
