A Brief History

Being dedicated to design, we began in 1993, growing out of a very successful manufacturing company co-founded by our MD 25 years earlier.

Our carriage charges are based on weight and volume.

Typical lead-in time is one to two days.

We Are Different

Few companies can offer a truly independent service, as they are often allied to a manufacturer or specialist trade. In contrast, we are able to provide a unique service, not only to electronics companies, but to anyone with a problem that can be solved by the appropriate application of technology. With our wide experience we can suggest innovative solutions, often with pleasingly surprising results. Dozens of projects have been tackled, in fields as diverse as educational aids, telecommunications, medical electronics and industrial instrumentation.

Circuit Design

Our experience enables us to produce high quality, reliable designs, using the latest technology, including Analogue, Digital, Wireless communications, Programmable Logic and Microcontrollers where appropriate. Circuit schematics are produced using the latest CAD systems.

Software Design

Programming is available to suit any application, from small embedded systems to large PC applications, using a broad range of languages from Assembler to Visual Basic. Emulation and simulation are used where appropriate.

Printed Circuit Design

Advanced printed circuit layout facilities are available. Automatic electrical design rule checking ensures accuracy, forward and reverse annotation and 3D visualization allow optimum layout design. Fast turnaround on prototype boards is available if required.

Prototype construction

We can supply Breadboard or printed circuit prototyping, depending on requirements. Our in-house metalwork facility allows a high quality unit to be produced for evaluation.

Production Engineering

Extensive experience allows us to specify production methods which avoid

potential problems and minimise labour content without sacrificing quality.

Other services

We can also provide a small batch production facility in-house, or we can sub-contract larger production quantities.

There’s no need to tie up your valuable resources when you deal with us. Equipment costs, staffing levels, overheads, maintenance and training costs can be forgotten. We have already made the investment in technology and trained staff, and have fully equipped facilities ready to do your work.

Latest Investment in Technology

We are always looking for better and lower cost solutions to your product development needs.  Over the past few years we have invested heavily in the latest microcontroller technology from Atmel, namely AVR.

AVR technology is very advanced using state-of-the-art techniques to deliver high-performance solutions at down-to-earth prices.

A wide range of devices are available.  AVR devices have numerous on-chip peripherals, which results in more functionality with fewer external components.

This means, if your product currently uses a number of logic chips, we could provide the equivalent functionality using less board space, while maintaining very low power consumption.

All devices are in-system programmable making product upgrades simple.

We have experience using Bluetooth, GSM, GPRS, GPS, Camera and Point to Point wireless communications.
