Port of Tyne Authority

The Port of Tyne is a trust port which is an independent statutory body governed by its own unique local legislation and controlled by an independent board. There are no shareholders or owners and directly employs over 400 people. The primarily responsibilities include improving maintaining and managing the Port on the River Tyne which flows through the North East of England.
