Plamar Polyester Bolt Insulation

Our multi-layered spiral bolt insulation sleeve has been expertly designed and manufactured to fit standard metric and imperial sized flange bolts. Using UL approved materials our insulation sleeves are durable and tough for effective protection and insulation. All of our insulation sleeves are traceable under registration number E348131. While they have been designed primarily for the protection of pipe flange bolts, our insulation sleeves are also used for the insulation of retaining rods in transformers and other types of electrical equipment. Our tubular components offer exceptional roundness and concentricity combined with consistent mechanical and acoustic characteristics. Plamec Heat-Shrink Tube

The Plamec heat-shrink tube is an extremely cost-effective solution for the insulation of thermal protectors and Hermetic systems. It is constructed from UL approved film under E348131 and features closer tolerance of internal diameter and reliable concentricity for quick and reliable assembly. Plamar Heat-Shrink Tube

These tubes are manufactured from DuPont™ Kapton® film and maintain dielectric strength at high temperatures. They are widely used to protect wirings in defence, space and aerospace, and automotive industries. Plamide HF Non-Shrink Tube

Plamide HF non-shrink tube is a precision wound protective tube and insulator that is manufactured from DuPont™ Kapton® film and coated with Teflon FEP®. It is widely used for applications where very thin sections of insulating tube must maintain high dielectric and mechanical strength even at high temperatures (Plamide HF non-shrink tube is suitable for Class H applications and temperatures up to 200 degrees C). Plamide HF non-shrink tubes can be supplied in any diameter or length and can be supplied with a range of film and coating thickness to suit specific customer requirements.

Plamide Non-Shrink Endcaps with Varnish EnCapSure

Our Plamide non-shrink endcaps are manufactured from DuPont™ Kapton® film and Nomex®. They are expertly designed and manufactured for use in varnish impregnated electrical motors. Plamide endcaps are highly effective in maintaining electrical resistivity, dimensional stability and strength even at incredibly high temperatures. Our Plamide non-shrink endcaps with varnish EncapSure are ideally suitable for applications in bulk process engineering environments where they are quick and easy to fit. They are manufactured from UL approved materials and are suitable for Class H applications and temperatures up to 180 degrees C.

Mechanical and Electro-Chemical Protection

Our tough and robust spiral wound tubes are designed and manufactured to provide mechanical protection and electrical insulation in order to prevent costly electrochemical corrosion and equipment failure. The tubes are also effective in reducing noise, vibration and wear. They are widely used for the following applications:
