L & N Radio Ltd specialises in the manufacture and design of electronics suitable for use in a range of industries. The company was established in 1957 when it set out by retailing radios and televisions. It wasn’t long before the company progressed and developed into a successful manufacturing company. Today, L & N Radio is pleased to offer a fantastic range of services including: Electronic Design, PCB Design, Design Samples, Assembly and Wiring, Assemblies made to Completion, Pre-testing and Final Testing of Products and Final Product Packaging.

SMT

Our Surface Mount Technology (SMT) samples are largely manufactured by hand in order to keep tooling costs to a minimum and to enable customers to make changes easily and without extra tooling costs.

Conventional

We have been carrying out conventional assemblies for a number of years. Our highly experienced team works with lead and lead-free solder machines alongside auto-insertion machines for complete PCB assembly.

Engineering

We use state-of-the-art CAD and simulation equipment alongside traditional and modern manufacturing techniques in order to achieve outstanding results. We work closely with customers during production to ensure the most effective results are achieved.

Wiring and Final Assembly

Our range of crimp and automatic cut and strip machines are used to carry out wiring and final assemble services. We can work to customer drawings or can produce drawings to suit customer requirements. Please call our friendly team at L&N Radio for further information.

Electro Luminesence

We have been manufacturing and designing EL electronics and products for a number of years. Our relationship with ELS Ltd has enabled us to develop our services in different areas of lighting. Our product range includes life jackets with EL, low cost battery powered inverters suitable for a range of mobile applications, 16 channel micro controlled unit suitable for random or regular use, mains inverter for use up to 100 ft, EL signs and more.

Automotive

We are known globally for our outstanding conventional power resistor assemblies and our new designs in semiconductor static motor speed reduction systems. Our product range includes: micro controller based PWM motor speed controllers, micro controller based servo position control circuits for heater flaps and valves, digital temperature controls, high performance, low cost air-conditioning controls, bi-directional motorised heater valve controllers and multi-heater control units. L&N Radio designs and manufactures products to suit specific customer requirements and/or manufactures products from customer drawings and designs.
