Kensington Specialist Balustrade Systems has been providing clients with incredible designs for more than 15 years. As one of the leading specialist companies on the market, Balustrade Systems by Kensington offers a diverse range of luxury balustrade systems. These can be modern or of a traditional affect to suit different tastes and styles. Our technical and creative teams have the vision and the imagination to create stunning systems and will also offer advice on building regulations, appropriate styles and sizes. Our range is designed in accordance with British Standard BS6399, BS6180 and BS8300. The range includes: stainless steel, modern series (elegantly crafted stainless steel balusters and newel post with polished and lacquered brass), Paris range (a combination of nickel plated and 24 carat gilded brass balusters), Royal Range (steel and brass balusters available in two finishes and the Prestige Range (hand patinated, mild steel balusters).

Stainless Steel Balustrades

Our stainless steel balustrade systems are available in a variety of finishes such as glass, rod or wire and are available in sizes ranging from 42.4mm in diameter for domestic use, 50.8mm in diameter for light commercial/industrial use and 60.3mm in diameter for large retail, restaurants, bars and similar areas. Our entire systems are supported by mathematical calculations to ensure conformity to current building regulations. We are currently developing our range of stainless steel services and will soon be introducing the Haboe Stainless Steel system on Autocad.

Brass, Nickel & Wrought Iron Balustrades

Balustrades in the exclusive Grande Forge range are created with brass, nickel, stainless steel, wrought iron and associated components. These prestigious balustrade systems are designed for installation by our technical team in the most luxurious of settings such as luxury hotels, conference centres and luxury houses. CAD facilities are also available to professional designers who can be supported by our technical who will offer advice and support at any stage of the development. The Grande Forge range offerswrought iron and architectural metalwork for use in manufacture of stairs, gates, railing and more.

Spiral Staircases

Our extensive ranges of spiral staircases are suitable for installation in both domestic and commercial settings. All staircases are manufactured in accordance with BS5395 Part 2 1984, Categories A-D. Wood spiral products are supplied by renowned French company, Escamor, and more combinations spirals of metal and wood (either solid beech or American oak treads are available. Our spiral staircases can be created to have a modern or traditional affect using a variety of combinations and finishes. Our spiral staircases are categorised as follows: Primary staircase, secondary staircase, non-standard staircase and commercial staircase.

Kensington's Grande Forge

The Kensington Grande Forge is where masterpieces are created. Illustrious balastrades are created here from various materials such as brass, nickel and stainless steel as well as from iron and other patinated components for specific settings. The Grande Forge allows designers the scope to create phenomenal architectural structures suitable for grand settings. Many balustrades that have previously been created in our Grande Forge can be found in luxury hotels and homes across the country such as the Hilton Hotel, Park Lane, and the Edwardian Radisson, Heathrow. The Grande Forge is where imaginative and grand creations are produced of the highest quality.
