New Machines

At JMJ Woodwork we stock a large selection of new woodworking machines from small appliances suitable for smaller joinery workshops and school woodwork studios, such as Jet Drills and Scheppach Bandsaws available from stock, right through to state of the art computer controlled shaping machines designed for mass production. SCM the manufacturer of the CNC Routers that JMJ supply, are the largest supplier of these types of machines in the world. 

Smaller and lower priced items are available in stock while the larger more specialised equipment is available to order. Our staff are knowledgeable about all of these devices and will be able to advise you accordingly. 

Used Machines

We acquire used machines for resale at an affordable and competitive price. All used equipment is refurbished by our engineering workshop and is supplied in working order, tested by our experienced engineers. The workshop is under the same roof as our sales showrooms, allowing us to call on the expertise of the experienced engineers when required. We also have a team of service engineers that are able to install equipment upon delivery. 

We strive to purchase and refurbish a varied selection of used machinery, so we are able to offer you a selection nearly as extensive as our new machine selection. Our Tooling department holds an extensive range of stock, everything from mortice chisels and bushes through to tersa knives and spindle moulder tooling. Most of our tooling is available from stock, and includes all the major manufacturers, such as Whitehill, Gilco, Elbee, Titman, Draper, Clico, Stehle, Freud, Ortiguil, Speed and Klingspor. Record & Bennets covers most accessory products and we offer spares for most leading makes of machinery.

Bandsaws

We have a range of Bandsaws to suit all requirements. From small workshop machines manufactured by Scheppach, to machines with larger tables and blades by Centauro and SCM Minimax, to deepthroat machines by Agazzani, which can take capacities of up to 1450mm and depth beneath the guides of 1040mm. The Agazzani V3 is ideal for cutting moulded plastics.

Dust Extractor

The Scheppach dust extractor is one of our best sellers and we always have a good stock available. The single bag dust unit has an 80 litres capacity, a 100mm dia x 2.5m length hose and a 0.8 hp motor. It comes with a sturdy wheel kit and stand. There is the optional extra of a filter cartridge, which increases the filter size by 5 times for fine particle dust. 

We are able to offer this Dust Extractor at a very competitive price of £325, making it a must have for keeping your workshop at its most productive and in line with safety legislation. There are larger units available on our website. 

Feed Unit

Another must for any workshop or woodworking operation. The Steff Feed Unit 2033 is single phase 4 speed, with 3 rollers. These machines are crucial for the protection of the workforce and efficient and smooth running of the workshop, improving productivity and quality of output.  As it is a bestseller, we always have a good availability of stock. Currently priced at a very reasonable £625 each.

Jet Disc & Belt Sander

The Jet Disc and Belt Sander DB31 A is a cast iron combined disc and belt sander on a stand. It has a single phase 240 volt. The combination belt is designed for workshop versatility, while small and compact, the DB31 A offers industrial power while taking up a small footprint in your workshop. The small and compact design of the machine also lends itself to being portable. Available from stock and competitively priced at £728, giving you two sanders in one.

Planer Thicknesser

Scheppach Planer Thicknesser hms 2600ci is a cast iron surfacing table with a feed table lifting to thicknessing mode. The Scheppach Thicknesser is capable of planing 3mm on the surfacer side and a maximum of 5mm on the thicknesser. It has a capacity of 250mm x 200mm,  a feed speed of 5m/min, and surfacing tables measuring 1040mm x 310mm. The machine has a 2 knife cutterblock and comes with the base shown in the picture. Combining the surfacer and thicknesser in one machine gives you the ability to achieve a more accurate final plane, from one affordable and compact machine.
