Strap Handles

Strap handles are available in two different sizes: 510mm and 335mm. They are commonly used on detergent boxes and multipack food/drinks products. Made with slots and fixing points for studs and rivets, they can be fixed to both corrugated and cartonboard cases. Strap handles are available in a range of colours. Get in touch to find out more.

Locking Devices

Our interlock connecting clips are designed to fasten multiple sections of corrugated board in order to eliminate the need for strapping, which can often cut into the board, impair its performance and possibly even damage the goods within. Item interlocks are removed as easily as they are fitted, allowing not only the clips themselves to be reused but also the rest of the pack, reducing costs and minimising waste.  You can see how our various interlock products work by visiting Item Products online.

Wheels

Item Products offers two options for packaging and point of sale mobility: steerable trundlers and standard trundlers. Both use a system of wheels that allow heavy and awkward packs and containers to be moved with ease around shops, stores, warehouses or in transit. Trundlers have a three-piece injection moulded construction built around one of our interlock devices (this clips the wheel chassis to the board without the need for tools or fixings). They are quick to assemble from the outside of the box and are easy to remove once the box is finished with. Steerable trundlers and standard trundlers can be used in combination with each other and also with trundler feet (these help to keep the box or container stationary when not in use).

Accessories

As well as a range of standard handles, interlocks, wheels and POS products, Item has developed several special components for bespoke packaging designs, including:

• Embossed Carry Handles – with your company or band name.
• Stackatrays – a range of stacking corners for corrugated or plastic extruded trays.
• Protective Tray Corners and Edging – specifically for heavy duty trays.
• Spraymaster 2 – a unique aerosol spraygun adaptor for line-marking aerosol cans.
• Spraymaster Original – for industrial, commercial and domestic applications.
• Master Rail – an injection moulded, single piece garment carrier for use in corrugated board.

• Display Hooks – Made with heavy-duty glass reinforced plastic and available in a variety of styles and sizes. 
• Binding Screws / Closures & Fastenings – In many different styles and sizes. Includes hook & loop reels and display dots, magnetic catches and various plastic, nickel and brass screws. 
• Euro Studs – a range of plastic nuts and rivets in various sizes and colours.

Integra Handle Range

The design and manufacture of packaging handles is an area of particular expertise for Item Products. We offer several great ranges made up of various handle styles and sizes - all are manufactured using high performance materials and are expertly designed for long-term strength and durability. One of our most popular handle ranges is Integra, which consists of the following products:

• Integra 1 – a heavy-duty top loading handle with self-locating, built-in base plate. Carries up to 25kg. 
• Integra 2 – a medium-duty, single piece handle recommended for top load use. Carries up to 15kg. 
• Integra 3 – a lightweight 180mm handle recommended for top load use. Carries up to 10kg. 
• Integra 4 – a lightweight 155mm handle recommended for top load use. Carries up to 10kg.
• Integra 5 – a lightweight wine-box style handle recommended for top load use. Carries up to 10kg. 
• Integra 6 – a lightweight handle available with or without base plate. Carries up to 20kg. 
• Integra 7+ Base – a 15kg-rated handle supplied with or without a base plate. 

Brandle

Another popular handle supplied by Item Products is Brandle. This has a one-piece design which removes the possibility of losing separate parts in storage. The integral base plate makes assembly easy and provides additional support for the container. Brandle handles can be supplied standard or branded (hence the name, “Brandle”). Customised Brandles can be produced relatively inexpensively – just get in touch for a quote.

MK Series

MK Series handles feature a standard handle and base plate combination (they can also be supplied without base plates if desired). They are available in a range of sizes and in two standard colours, black or white. Other colours are available upon special request. Sidewinder

Sidewinder handles, also known as Celta handles, are a popular choice in many different situations. They are strong, comfortable to handle and they can be branded in a variety of ways. There are several different types of handle in our Sidewinder range. These are:

• Sidewinder Standard – made with black polypropylene webbing and backing plate. A double slotted design makes the webbing extra secure (tested to 75kg).
• Sidewinder Branded – can be printed or woven with brand imagery. 
• Sidewinder Finale – designed for caskets made to EU regulations. Finale Sidewinder handles are made with natural jute webbing and fibreboard backing plates. These products are made to order only. 

All types of Sidewinder handle are reusable. Item Products also supplies a Sidewinder slot cutter/handle inserter designed to locate handles. This is able to pierce all grades of carton board. Find out more by visiting Item Products online. 

Atlantic Range

The Atlantic range consists of many lightweight, decorative and specialist handles suitable for many different applications. They include:

• Carry Aid - a lightweight handle suitable for packages tied with string. Carries up to 15kg.
• Carry-All – a lightweight handle suitable for packages tied with string. Carries up to 36kg.
• Heavy-Duty Carton Handles – available in various sizes, for loads from 20kg to 45kg.
• Lightweight Carton Handles – in various styles and sizes, for loads ranging from 7kg to 35kg. 
• Decorative Carton Handles – in various styles, including rope, bracelet and double braid, all available in a range of sizes.

Handles - Euro K Series

The Euro K Series is one of our largest ranges. It includes many different styles of side-mounted handle – you can see some of these as diagrams on the Item Products website, where full details and specifications are also given. Handles are usually supplied in boxes of 100, 150, 200, 250, 500 or 1000, depending on the type of handle chosen. Rigid Swivel Handles

Item Products can offer several different types of rigid swivel handle, including:

• Ref 80, 82, 85 & 89 – a lightweight rigid swivel handle for use with polypropylene and carton board materials. Easy to assemble and available in four different colours. Length between fixings can be 105mm, 107mm, 109mm or 112mm.  
• Atlantic Twistlock Swivel – with an easy snap-lock design (requires no tools to fit) suitable for use with polypropylene and carton board materials. Carries up to 20kg. 
• EKS 921.0 – a 120mm swivel carry handle suitable for top loading applications. Carries up to 5kg.

Leatherette

Our leatherette handles are ideal for luxury packaging applications – products where presentation is key to successful merchandising. They are handmade and available in any colour to meet specific branding requirements. Customers also have the option to have a separate backing plate for added strength and support.
