Steam Humidifiers

Steam Humidifiers work via the process of isothermal humidification, basically water is boiled and the vapor that is produced is delivered to the surrounding air. As the water vapor has a slightly smaller mass than the air that is absorbing it, the temperature of the air increases. This process has been used in many applications including direct steam injection, electric steam, infra-red, gas to steam and steam to steam. We have a wide range of steam humidifiers including models from both ElectroVap and Neptronic, which can be used in both commercial and domestic environments.

Evaporative Humidifiers

Evaporative humidifiers differ from their steam using counterparts in that they do not require an external source to provide thermal energy. This process is called adiabatic humidification and has some advantages over steam humidification, the biggest being a saving in energy. Some of the applications of evaporative humidification are air/water atomising, ultrasonic, wetted media evaporation and high pressure atomising. Our models within this range include machines from Devatec, Fisair and Airtec and vary in their respective sizes and functions.

Dehumidifier

Many problems can be caused by a humid environment, including health issues and mold growth. Apart from this, high humidity can make a room feel stuffy and uncomfortable to live or work in. Our FisAir Dessicant Dehumidifiers use highly surface active, silica gel rotors to absorb excessive water vapor and re-balance humidity. The drying process is reliable, continuous and uniform thanks to a counter flow rotor reactivation with hot air in a separated sector. The units themselves are compact and self contained and come with the option of castors or wall brackets.

Heating/Humidifier

Our combination heating and humidifier device is the perfect model for working within a yoga studio. The tower delivers 0.6 m3/s of air to achieve 40C 50%rh in a studio of 200 m3 which allows for a much more comfortable working environment. The humidifier element of this device can supply 10kg of steam per hour whilst the temperature is achieved using a 18kW electric heater. The fan that is used by this device is powered using an EC motor, which is much more energy efficient than the usual AC variety, meaning it is cost effective and environmentally friendly.

Water Treatment

Customers who require a water treatment service should consider using Reverse Osmosis Systems. Problems can arise when using mains water due to the fact that it can contain dissolved minerals. When this water evaporates, these minerals can remain in the air as a fine dust or even within humidifiers as scale. As these minerals build up within a humidifier, customers will find themselves conducting routine maintenance on their machines much more often. Using a reverse osmosis water treatment system will remove almost all of the mineral build up within the mains water, solving the problem of scale.

We have a large series of actuators with the prominent ranges being VAV Box, Linear, Damper and the Various Valve Type. We can also supply series such as C-D-B-S, L-T-R, U & W, Fast, IP65 and Acillary.
