Established in 2000, by Howard Lister, a Geotechnical Advisor with over 30 years industry experience, Ground Investigation Specialists Limited (G.I.S.) is a small, privately owned company specialising in geotechnical and geoenvironmental investigations. G.I.S work on projects for Councils, engineering practices and corporate companies in the public and private sector, on contracts that range in value form £1,000 to £100,000.
Our professional staff team is comprised of Tom Mclaren BSc, FGS Engineering Geologist and Duncan Grey BSc, MSc, AIEMA Contaminated Land Specialist, both knowledgeable and experienced in their field who work alongside Howard. Our service is fully comprehensive and we work with our clients on every stage of the process from the Phase 1 desk studies, investigations, laboratory testing and monitoring to the final report and any necessary validation tests.
