Established in 1971 as a UK subsidiary for the German Gesipa Group, Gesipa Blind Riveting Systems Ltd. manufactures blind rivets, rivet nuts and rivet nut studs of the highest possible standards, here in the UK. We operate from our factory base in Keighley, West Yorkshire.
Rivet nut studs are a combination of blind rivet nut and screw. They are a particularly useful alternative to (or replacement for) welding studs.
Rivet nut studs can be fixed from one side for ease of installation. They are ideal for applications where:
Rivet nut studs are available in thread sizes from M4 to M12. Stud length can vary from 20 to 90mm, while maximum nut length is 25mm.
Blind rivet nuts are ideal for thin sheet applications where tapping is either impractical or not possible. They consist of a rivet and thread in a single piece which can be set from one side of the material, giving them a distinct advantage over other threaded fasteners.
The blind rivet nut can be used either as a captive nut or as a rivet to join materials.
They are available in several different styles/materials:

MegaGrip is a high strength structural rivet with high shear and tensile values. These properties make it particularly suitable for vehicle body building, trailer building and shelving work.
MegaGrip rivets have a wide grip range and are made with a self-locking mandrel that offers a good level of weather resistance. When set into position, the rivet body expands within the material to ensure a tight grip.
These rivets are available in three different head styles: Dome Head, Large Flange and Countersunk. MegaGrip rivets are supplied in steel or aluminium as standard; other materials are available upon request.
Our fully automatic Blind Riveting Units are capable of setting up to 45 rivets per minute, improving productivity, saving time and reducing costs by up to 50% (in comparison with conventional tools). They are ideal for industrial applications where output is high and time is critical.
Automatic loading of rivets into the gun’s working position allows users to simply pull the trigger and quickly move onto the next rivet.
FireFox® is the name given to our unique pneumatic hydraulic blind rivet nut setting tool. The ability to use both traction force and constant stroke adjustment makes this device a world first.
Traction force adjustment is where the tool stops pulling the blind rivet nut when a pre-adjusted traction force threshold is reached. This prevents the material from becoming stressed or damaged whilst also protecting the integrity of the rivet nut.
Constant stroke adjustment is where the tool pulls the blind rivet nut with its maximum force and stops immediately when the pre-adjusted stroke has been covered.
The FireFox® riveting tool is able to set blind rivet nuts from M3 to M12.
Keeping your tools in top condition is essential in maintaining their performance and prolonging their serviceable life. To help you do this, Gesipa offers a tool maintenance and repair service that covers our entire range of riveting devices.
All work is carried out by experienced technicians at our facility in Keighley.
