FPL’s service department plays a key role in the smooth functioning of drying equipment throughout the country. Our clients rely on us to ensure their UV/IR dryers are performing as expected, when expected, and for as long as expected. This involves any combination of the following:

For breakdowns, overhauls, general servicing and installations we offer a call-out service whereby a qualified engineer will come to your site and carry out the required work to the very highest standard. 

UV Lamps

FPL are able to supply UV lamps for almost all makes of drying equipment. On our website you’ll find a UV Lamp Identification Form which, once filled in, will allow us to find the right lamp for your application.

IR Lamps

Also available are a range of IR dryers for use in a variety of applications, including drying inks and varnishes, drying paint in the automotive industry, curing adhesives, soldering, screen printing and much more. FPL can supply clear, gold coated, jacketed and frosted lamps, plus many others for use in Adnos, Colodry, Eltosch, GEW, Heidelberg, IST, IVT, Spectral, Abbess, Adphos, Baldwin and other manufacturers’ drying equipment. Bespoke Systems

As well as offering a comprehensive range of standard UV/IR systems, we also offer our customers the chance to have bespoke UV/IR systems built specifically for their application. We have years of experience in design and development of customised drying equipment, and can produce UV/IR solutions to almost any specification required. System controls are designed with the operator in mind, keeping them simple to understand and easy to operate – to build them we use the latest PLCs and touch screen technologies, or, if preferred, relay logic. Most of our bespoke systems have been designed specifically for the printing industry, however we can offer custom solutions for other market sectors.

Refurbished Systems

Refurbished UV/IR systems are also available, presenting a cost-effective alternative to the purchase of brand new equipment. Customers can choose from a range of already refurbished items or alternatively can have their existing equipment fully refurbished and brought up to date. Either way, you’re likely to save money.

Digital Print Heads

FPL are pleased to be able to offer a comprehensive and cost-effective solution for replacing lamps in digital printing machines. Instead of replacing the lamp only (which leaves other parts of the cartridge such as the reflector to degrade over time), we’ll provide a complete cartridge that includes lamps, reflectors and the option of new quartz windows. In so doing, the entire optical system within the printer will be returned to as new condition. Of course, if you do just require lamps, reflectors or electrical parts, we can supply them too.
